September 2017 Events

During the Brooklyn Clay Tour in collaboration with Amy Lee Studios, I participated in several ceramics/food events.. Amy Lee- a photographer/food stylist who shares my aesthetic and love of food and I partnered with local chefs and planned events where the participants experienced a full integration of art and food.

My sculpture was included in three Brooklyn Clay Tour exhibits: This Is Not a Teapot, at Groundfloor Gallery, Books Are Magic, My Favorite Book at Books Are Magic on Smith Street in Brooklyn (currently on display) and Clayspace 1205 (also currently on display).

The Brooklyn Clay Tour is three days of exhibitions and events centered around the diverse and growing ceramic arts community in Brooklyn, NY. I’ll also be showing sculpture in the following Brooklyn Clay Tour Events and I’d love to my new work with you.
These shows will feature many artists and the great range of styles, surfaces and concepts in current ceramics.

This is Not a Teapot where I'll be showing reliefs from a series entitled Shields.

My Favorite Book - Books Are Magic - where I have a piece about gender, made in response to several readings of Louise Erdrich's The Last Report on the Miracles at Little No Horse.
